On Friday, media reports start to speculate about the next stop for Croatian icon Luka Modric after his shocking Thursday of leaving Real Madrid.
Modric will leave Madrid this summer after spending more than 12 years in the Santiago Bernabeu.
According to Croatian daily Jutarnji, Modric has three ‘lucrative’ offers from clubs in the Saudi Pro League, Qatar and MLS, which is teased to be Inter Miami.
However, Croatia’s 24sata reports that Modric wants to arrive at next summer’s World Cup ‘in optimal form’ and is more into a MLS move.
In 2023, Inter Miami’s co-owner David Beckham was seen with Modric in Sipan, sparking speculation that Modric would be the latest addition to the team.
However, Modric ended 2023 remaining at Madrid but Inter Miami retained their interest to sign the 39-year-old in the coming months.
