Moments ago, Dr. Walid Deibis, the Head of the Modern Sport (FKA Future) board of directors, resigned from his position in the club, in addition, he returned his shares to the former owners of the club.
In an official statement released, the club explained that Deibis resignation came after the media backlash against his latest statement about the late Ahmed Refaat.
He will also withdraw from the sports scene in Egypt, and will visit the funeral of Refaat in his house in Cairo.
The club asserted that it will provide the Ministry of Youth and Sports with all required data and documents for the investigation regarding the issues Refaat suffered from during his time with UAE's Al Wehda.
