The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderately warm weather will prevail across the country during Monday's daylight hours.

Winds occasionally occur across the country, stirring sand and dust in some parts of the region.

There is light rainfall prevailing intermittently in South Sinai and Canal Cities.

Light to moderate rain is also forecast to hit South Lower Egypt.

Moderate to heavy rain, sometimes thunderous, is expected in the North Coast and North Lower Egypt at intermittent periods.

Furthermore, maritime navigation is also expected to be disrupted in the Mediterranean Sea with winds averaging 50 to 70 km/h and waves ranging between 3.5:5.5 meters.

Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to turbulent, ranging between 2 and 2.5 meters varying between northwest and southwest surface winds.

Extremely cold weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night and in the early morning.

There is a 20% chance of light rainfall prevailing intermittently in Cairo.

Meteorologists warn that frost may form on crops in parts of the North Upper Egypt, Central Sinai, and the Western Desert.

The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 19°C in Cairo, 17°C in Alexandria, 16°C in Marsa Matruh, 21°C in Sohag, 22°C in Qena, and 25°C in Aswan.
