The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderately cold weather to prevail in Cairo, North Coast, and Lower Egypt during Monday’s daylight hours.
Moderate weather is also expected in North Upper Egypt, while South Sinai and South Upper Egypt will experience moderately warm conditions.
Winds will occur occasionally in the North Coast and North Lower Egypt.
There is a chance of light rainfall to hit the Northwest Coast, at intermittent periods. Light to medium rain will prevail in the North Coast and North Lower Egypt.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean and Red Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 meters and 2 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Extremely cold weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt in the early hours and at the end of the nighttime.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 17°C in Cairo, 17°C in Alexandria, 16°C in Marsa Matruh, 20°C in Sohag, 22°C in Qena, and 22°C in Aswan.
