Iconic and popular former football star Moamen Zakaria was appointed in Smouha's new coaching staff, Farag Amer, the head of Smouha club, announced on Tuesday.
Farag said that Smouha's Board of Directors decided to appoint Zakaria as a member of the new coaching staff for the club's football team.
He described the announcement as the biggest signing by Smouha for this season.
Smouha is currently working on the formation of a new coaching staff after the departure of Tarek Al Ashry.
Al Ashry's final appearance with the Alexandria-based club was against Pyramids which ended with Smouha's defeat.
Currently, the Alexandrian team is in 11th place in the EPL table with 16 points.
