The wife of Egyptian national team striker and Liverpool star Mohamed Salah, Mrs. Maggie Sadiq gave a birth to a baby girl “Kayan” earlier today at one of the hospitals in England.

Sources revealed that the mother and sister of Mohamed Salah's wife are now with her in England, to take care of her and the baby as well.

Noteworthy, the British Mirror newspaper has anticipated that Liverpool’s star Mohamed Salah is among the top nominees to win the “Golden Boot” English Premier League top scorer award for the third time in a row.

In a report issued on Saturday, the newspaper wrote that Salah is looking to break a new record, equaling Thierry Henry’s three consecutive wins.

The Egyptian player currently has 14 goals just three goals behind top scorer Jamie Vardy, the Leicester City star.

The other names nominated by the British newspaper, included Sergio Aguero, 16 goals, Marcus Rashford, 14 goals, Danny Ings, 14 goals, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, 14 goals, Tammy Abraham, 13 goals, Sadio Mane, 11 goals, Raul Jimenez, and Teemu Pukki.

Last year, Salah shared the Golden Boot with Aubameyang and Sadio Mane with 22 goals.

The newspaper pointed out that with 13 games to go, the race for the Golden Boot is heating up with no clear leader – and with only six goals between the players in first and tenth, the race is likely to go right to the last.

Salah is the first Egyptian player to win the Confederation of African Football’s player of the year award in January 2018 for the second year in a row.

He was also the first Egyptian to get his portrait displayed at the world cup exhibition in June 2018, and the world-famous Madame Tussauds museum in London; the museum also announced that the Egyptian footballer will be getting his own wax sculpture.
