Mo Salah Among FIFA's Nominees for Best Player 2020

The International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) revealed Wednesday the names of the nominated players for the Best Player in the World Award for the year 2020.

The list included 11 players, including the Egyptian international Mohamed Salah, and it came as follows:

-Thiago Alcântara (Spain / FC Bayern München / Liverpool FC)

-Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal / Juventus FC)

-Kevin De Bruyne (Belgium / Manchester City FC)

-Robert Lewandowski (Poland / FC Bayern München)

-Sadio Mané (Senegal / Liverpool FC)

-Kylian Mbappé (France / Paris Saint-Germain)

-Lionel Messi (Argentina / FC Barcelona)

-Neymar (Brazil / Paris Saint-Germain)

-Sergio Ramos (Spain / Real Madrid CF)

-Mohamed Salah (Egypt / Liverpool FC )

-Virgil van Dijk (Netherlands / Liverpool FC)

Public voting is open on FIFA.com and will run until 9 December 2020.

FIFA will announce the three finalists on 11 December 2020.

The prize winner will be revealed on the 17th of December 2020 at a ceremony in Zurich, Switzerland.

It is worth noting that this is the third time Salah runs for this award.
