Early Thursday, All Elite Wrestling, officially, announced that MJF will defend his title against Samoa Joe at the first-ever Worlds End on December 30.
During the AEW Dynamite episode, Joe confronted MJF and Adam Cole in the ring, pointing out the deal Joe and MJF had during AEW Full Gear. Joe supported MJF during defending his ROH World Tag Team titles against The Guns at Full Gear, in return, MJF would give Joe another title shot.
MJF hesitated, however, Cole convinced MJF to be a man of his word and respect the deal. However, MJF wanted to have the match during the episode, but Joe prefers to have MJF in his 100% at Worlds End.
The upcoming Worlds End will be the first PPV of the AEW to take place by the end of the year, and it will take place in Long Island, New York, the hometown of MJF.
