Winter season has arrived, along with its bitter cold, diseases, skin and weight gain problems.
Here are some tips provided by Dr. Hany Elnazer Professor of Dermatology and the former head of the Medical Research Center, to pass through the season safely.
1- Do not wear any woolen clothing directly on the skin, and do not put the wool scarf on your neck or face, instead wear cotton.
2- Do not sit directly in front of the heater or any other heat source, and be cautious and stay away from these heat sources.

3- Drink at least three liters of water a day.
4- Do not wash your hands or face with cold water, nor bath or have Wudhu (ablution) with it; always use warm water.
5 - Do not leave any traces of water on your hands, face, or around the mouth after washing, and to make sure to dry well, as cold-water leads to Vasoconstriction, which reduces blood flow to the skin, leading to severe dehydration.
6- If you are in a crowded room, do not close all windows, but rather keep a portion of the windows open for a constant fresh air.
As for staying fit in winter, here are some tips that will make you shoulder against your excessive appetite for food, which leads to leaving winter with extra weight.
* Evening meals
The feeling of hunger increases during winter nights and the secret of laying off meals is to eat meals with few calories and to eat your last meal before 9 pm.
When feeling hungry, you can eat Hummus Al Sham or just drink a large cup of Hummus water, which is rich in iron, vitamins, and practically have no zero calories.
*Boost energy
In addition, you can drink some apple juice, add a quarter of a tablespoon of ground cinnamon and boil it, which will provide your body with energy and warmth, and plus it low in calories.
Dinner can be a dish of soup prepared from lentils stew and vegetables, as it provides the body with energy.
