Dr. Ali Al-Moselhi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, spoke about the national project for wheat silos, saying that the total area cultivated with wheat produced 5.2 million tons.
The minister added that the government agreed to finance these projects the national project for silos.
He revealed that Egypt has previously sufficed up to 4 months as a strategic stockpile but now the country has a stockpile that suffices for 6 months.
He affirmed that 800,000 tons are consumed per month and this means consumption of 4.8 million tons in 6 months.
