In this regard, El-Qabbage said the ministry launched the Early Childhood Development program, noting that it has succeeded in establishing 1,000 nurseries in the past two years.
She also highlighted that the ministry has contributed to supporting 34,000 students in community schools in cooperation with the MEK foundation.
On his part, Gomaa, chairman of MEK board of trustees, said the foundation established around 80 schools in accordance with UNICEF, but then left them without care or communication.
“As we acknowledge the great importance of these schools, we continued with the project until we reached 1,080 schools in 14 years,” he affirmed.
Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Education and Technical Education Tarek Shawki, and Heba Saleh, chairwomen of Information Technology Institute (ITI), attended the conference along with a representative of Minister of Communications and Information Technology.

The conference comes in light of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sis’ orders to allocate an additional budget to the Ministry of Social Solidarity to support equal educational opportunities.
It also honored high school seniors with disabilities and their colleagues who received scholarships for university studies last year, as well as honoring civil work institutions that have a vital role in this significant program.
