Egypt's Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat said that the current fiscal year targets to train 115,000 youth at a cost of EGP 400 million.

In his word during the inauguration of Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST), Talaat explained that the government aims to provide a huge number of courses for a wide range of young people, to enable them to join the labor market in record time.

Moreover, he added that the ministry has begun to implement some courses and prepare more others.

The minister pointed out that "Digital Future Initiative" aims to train 100,000 young men and women across different governorates at a cost of EGP 300 million, to compete efficiently in the labor market.

It is worth mentioning that, Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi opened on Wednesday Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) in New Borg El-Arab City in Alexandria.

E-JUST is one of the most key projects implemented by the Egyptian government in cooperation with the Japanese government, as part of its strategic plan towards upgrading the higher education system.
