On Wednesday, militants attacked two oil wells at Bai Hassan oilfield nearby Kirkuk, Iraq by bombs, local oil authorities announced.

The explosion caused a controllable fire near oil wells, No. 183, and No. 177, therefore, it left limited impacts nearby the mentioned wells.

However, the Iraqi oil authorities asserted that the attack didn't disturb or block the operation of oil production at the field.

On the other hand, the two-bomb blast left behind a number of causalities from security forces, the number of victims is one dead, and three injured victims.

This attack is the second in almost three weeks. The Iraqi authorities announced in mid-April that a terrorist attack targeted two oil wells in the same city without leaving any significant damage.
