Rogério Micale, the coach of Egypt National U-23 Football team, reportedly prefers having a friendly game for the U-23 team against Iraq instead of Argentina in the Latin American country during upcoming international break in June, ahead of the Paris Games.
Micale clarified that the trip to Argentina would take more than 14 years, in addition, players may be exhausted due to the length of the trip.
The Egyptian Football Association is contacting the Iraqi football association for a friendly between both Olympic teams after the qualification of the Iraqi U-23 team to the Paris Games.
Earlier, Media outlets revealed that received two proposals from Argentina, and Paraguay, in addition to two other proposals from Japan, and Ukraine.
The Egyptian Olympic team is supposed to participate in the Maurice Revello Tournament but Micale is still studying all options.
