As one of the host nations, Mexico will kick off its World Cup campaign against South Africa at the iconic Estadio Azteca on June 11. Mexico will then face South Korea and Czech Republic in Group A as they aim to secure a place in the knockout rounds.
Australia, meanwhile, will begin its World Cup journey on June 13 against Turkey before taking on United States and Paraguay in the group stage.
Mexico enters the tournament with a strong World Cup pedigree, having reached the Round of 16 in seven consecutive editions between 1994 and 2018. The nation has qualified for the finals 18 times and achieved its best-ever results by reaching the quarter-finals in both 1970 and 1986.
