Lionel Messi was ruled out from the lineup of Argentina's next friendlies against El Salvador, and Costa Rica in the upcoming international break due to injury, the Argentine Football Association announced on Monday.
The Argentinian football governing body said that Messi sustained a right hamstring injury.
Messi was substituted early in the second half of Inter Miami's game against Nashville in the Concacaf Champions Cup due to injury and missed Saturday's league game.
Inter Miami Coach Gerardo Martino said that Messi's condition will be evaluated "week by week."
