Messi Included in Argentina’s 31-Man Preliminary Squad for 2026 World Cup Qualifiers

Argentina head coach Lionel Scaloni has unveiled a 31-man preliminary squad ahead of the Albiceleste’s September clashes with Venezuela and Ecuador in the South American qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

The reigning world champions have already booked their spot at the tournament, topping the CONMEBOL standings dominantly, including a double victory over arch-rivals Brazil.

Argentina Squad List is as follows:
