Egyptian stars Menna Shalaby and Ahmed Dawood's upcoming film "Sara W Ali" has been retitled "Al Hawa Sultan".
The cast also includes Ahmed Khaled Saleh, Sawsan Badr, Gihan El Shamashergy, and more.
The film hails from Heba Yousry and produced by Sea Cinema Productions.
"Al Hawa Sultan" witnesses the second collaboration between Shalaby and Dawood after the 2016 film “Al Ma’ wal Khodra wal Wajh al Hassan” (Brooks, Meadows and Lovely Faces).
Principal photography is underway.
Dawood can be seen in the TV series "Zeinhom".
The cast also includes Karim Kassem, Salma Abu Deif, Yara Goubran, and more. It is scripted by Mohamed Suleiman Abdul-Malik, directed by Yahya Ismail, and produced by AROMA Studios.
The series consists of 30 episodes and marks Dawood's first major TV role in a drama.
Dawood is also collaborating with Kassem in the long-awaited third outing in the franchise, "Welad Rizk 3: El Qadya" (Sons of Rizk 3: The Knockout).
It will also feature Sayed Ragab reprising his role as Ma'alem Sakr and Asser Yassin as Al Shayeb.
Yassin will have more screen time for the character in preparation for the "Welad Rizk" spin-off film "Al Shayeb" (The King). The film was first announced in 2019 in the post-credit scene of "Welad Rizk 2".
It also features Eyad Nasser returning for the film as well as features Maged El Kedwany making a cameo appearance.
"Welad Rizk" first premiered in 2015 and hails from screenwriter Salah El Gehiny and director Tarek Alarian.
The film features an all-star ensemble cast that includes Ahmed Ezz, Amr Youssef, Ahmed Dawood, Karim Qassem, Mohamed Mamdouh, and Ahmed El Fishawy.
"Welad Rizk 3" is set to premiere in the cinemas during the Eid al-Adha movie marathon.
