Hamada Anwar, a member of the Zamalek board of directors, affirmed that the entire board will be present in Cairo Stadium Friday to attend the final match of the CAF Champions League against Al Ahly.

"The entire board of directors will definitely attend the Champions League final," Anwar said in a statement to "Al-Laeeb" tv program aired on MBC Egypt channel Tuesday evening.

He added: "Mortada Mansour, President of Zamalek Club, would be present in the final match if he wants to, this matter would be up to him."

Talking about the extent of Zamalek's concern about the Corona swab that the team will conduct Wednesday morning, Anwar said: "Any player misses the match, whether in Zamalek or Al Ahly, will be influential, that is normal."

Anwar indicated that Mohamed Abdel-Ghani and Mohamed Abdel Salam, the Zamalek defense duo, will be substitutes for Mahmoud Hamdi Al-Winsh if it is confirmed that he is going to miss the encounter due to his Corona infection.

He also pointed out that the swab performed by the duo Moroccan Ashraf Bencharki and Tunisian Ferjani Sassi was negative, adding that they have participated in the White Knights' training.

"There are no worries about the match, we are talking about history, it is an honor for any player to participate in this exceptional match, which will be followed by participation in the Club World Cup," he concluded.
