Medical Professions Union and the Medical Syndicate decided to morally support medical professionals throughout the state in their great efforts to combat Covid-19. The family of any doctor, who will be a victim of the virus while providing services to those affected, will be offered EGP 500,000 and the ones who will contract the virus will be offered EGP 20,000.
The move is due to the pandemic that the country is going through and the injuries that doctors and other medical profession members who sometimes defy death while fighting Corona.
The Medical Council and the Medical Professions Federation Syndicates decided the following:
1- EGP 20,000 will be given by the Medical Professions Syndicates Federation for each member (human - dental - pharmacist - veterinarian) afflicted with corona, provided that he/she is practicing the profession inside the republic and is providing the needed services in an isolation hospital.
2- EGP 50,000 will be offered by the Medical Professions Syndicates Federation to each member (human, dental, pharmacist, veterinary) who becomes a victim of Covid-19.
3- EGP 50,000 will be given to every human doctor who becomes a victim of the fatal virus.
