Medhat Saleh will perform the opening concert for the 31st edition of the Salah El-Din Citadel Music Festival, on Friday, August 25.
Accompanied by pianist Amr Selim, the renowned Egyptian artist will bring his renowned rhythm and pop flair to the stage of the Mahka Theatre.
Born in 1960, Salih is regarded as one of the most acclaimed singers and actors of his generation.
He made his musical career directly after he graduated from Cairo University.
Among his most notable repertoire is Wala Teswa Domoe (Not Worth the Tears), El-Donia Alemetny (Life Taught Me), and movie scores from Mafia, El-Beliatsho (The Clown), and Amir El-Zalam (Prince of Darkness).
