On Wednesday, media outlets revealed that Kylian Mbappe may not activate the one-year clause of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain.
The reports highlighted that Mbappe's intention of not extending his contract with the French club would create a crisis.
The French outlet L'Equipe said that Mbappe wants to depart the club before 2025, and his contract expires on July 31st.
It added that the officials of PSG are trying to convince the 24-year-old player to stay with the club as the cornerstone of PSG's future project.
PSG extended Mbappe's contract, last year, although he was so close to move to Real Madrid.
Currently, PSG are at the top of the Ligue 1 table with 84 points.
