On Saturday, DR Congo Mazembe won 2024 CAF Champions League tournament after defeating Morocco's FAR Rabat 1-0.
The game took place at El Jadida’s Stade Ben Ahmed El Abdi against the hosts.
The game's only goal came from a converted spot kick by Marlene Kasaj in the opening 10 minutes, which Mazembe protected during the game to seal the historic victory.
During the game, FAR Rabat attempted to hit the equalizer but they failed.
Mazembe will be awarded $600 000 in prize, while runners-up AS FAR will take $400 000.
In the same context, Egypt's Masar captured the bronze medal of the tournament on Friday.
