Egyptian Tennis star Mayar Sherif will start her campaign at the Open Internacional de Valencia, tomorrow, after losing at Colina, Chile.
Sherif is now ranked 59 in the international ranking for women's tennis players, after losing 10 places.
The Egyptian star was knocked out from the China Open after losing to her Chinese opponent in the first round.
Last year, Sherif won her second WTA 125 title in Marbella after beating Germany’s Tamara Korpatsch in the final.
Sherif had a great year in 2021, reaching her best ever WTA ranking (61st), and she aimed to keep her great form with the start of 2022.
