Egypt's Mayar Sherif suffered a 6-0 6-3 defeat to the Greece’s tennis star Maria Sakkari, to be knocked out of the Qatar Open.
The Greece’s tennis star qualified for the second round of the tournament, as she fired five aces and broke Sherif’s serve five times.
She will now face either No. 6 seed Belinda Bencic or No. 19 Madison Keys.
It is worth mentioning that the Egyptian tennis star had written the history after becoming the first Egyptian woman to secure a win in the Australian Open, which is considered on the biggest tournaments in tennis across the world.
