Maya Diab to Perform Virtual Concert on April 16

Lebanese superstar, Maya Diab will host on Thursday (April 16) a virtual concert on YouTube, in an attempt to spread joy, and uplift the people spirits with music amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“When the world was forcibly silenced, the only thing that remained was the sound of nature: the whistling of the wind, the song of the birds, the melodic flow of water,” she wrote on YouTube.

“At times like these, the only language that unites us all is that of music. In an effort to make our unity even stronger, I want to share my music too, so we too can be connected in these difficult times.” concluded Diab.

Moreover, the Lebanese superstar took to social media to promote for her upcoming concert, saying: “Are you ready for an exceptional night this Thursday? It is worth mentioning that Diab is a music artist, entertainer, film, TV personality, and fashion icon. She was born on November 10, 1980.

She has been considered Lebanon’s phenomenon and was named the trendsetter in the Middle East over recent years.

She has been awarded numerous prestigious Fashion and Beauty awards for her contribution to the fashion and beauty industry.

Diab majored in Radio and TV media after receiving her university degree; she worked on several TV programs including presenting for “MTV”.

In 2001, she has become a member of the famous Lebanese band “The Four Cats”, but choose to go solo.

Diab appeared in dozens of video music, a movie, numerous songs, including “Habibi”, “Chaklak Mabta’rif”, “Tawel Balak”, “Dabou Inayk”, “Aywah”, “Ya Gatifeen”, and “Hiya Di Donia”.

Moreover, she collaborated with international artist Jason Derulo in “Talk to Me” music video.

She made her acting debut in 2007 film “Lion and 4 cats” with her band in 2007, co-starring Egyptian comedy actor Hany Ramzy.
