On Friday, CAF officially informed Al Ahly that Mauritania will host the second leg of the Egyptian team's clash against Sudan's Al Hilal on April 8.
Meanwhile, Al Ahly officials continue their discussions with authorities to increase the fan attendance for the first-leg match against Al Hilal, scheduled for April 1 at Cairo International Stadium.
The club has secured approval for 30,000 fans to attend the game, despite initially requesting the stadium’s full capacity.
However, Al Ahly are negotiating to raise the attendance to 50,000.
Al Hilal has announced that they will host Al Ahly for the second leg at the "Cheikha Ould Boïdiya Stadium" in Mauritania.
The winner of the Al Ahly vs. Al Hilal tie will advance to the semi-finals, where they will face the winner of the Esperance vs. Mamelodi Sundowns.
