On Monday, The Criminal Court of Matrouh released Al Zamalek's defender Ahmed Fatouh after paying EGP 50,000 as a guarantee.
In addition, the court set October 22 session for declaring the final decision regarding the case.
During today's session, the court listened to the lawyer's of the victim's family, and Fatouh's defence who asked the court to estimate the blood money.
On the other hand, the victim family's lawyer expressed that the family rejected the principle of the blood money, citing words of the victim's daughter, saying "If my father's full body returned as whole, we could accept the blood money. But, we got my father's body in four pieces."
Last August, Fatouh hit a passer-by who worked as a police guard while returning from his vacation in North Coast.
Fatouh was driving his vehicle with a high speed which led to harshly crashing into the body of the passer-by. The body's parts flew into the car, and the sides of the road, according to the investigations.
The tests of Fatouh also confirmed that the player was driving under the influence of the cannabis.
