Houston police revealed that they are responding to a fiery explosion at a building in northwest Houston early Friday.
CNN affiliates reported that the blast shook other buildings in the area, while residents have reported broken windows and doors in the area.

According to area residents, the explosion happened around 4:15 a.m. local time (11:15 AM Cairo Local time) at a building about half a mile away from their homes on Rockcrest road and Stanford Court.
One viewer shared a video from their doorbell camera that shows the blast.

Officers on the scene said there could be a secondary explosion and the air quality may pose a threat.
