Marvel Studios has moved the release date for "Thunderbolts" to May 2, 2025, and pushed back "Fantastic Four" to July 25, 2025.
The news comes after unveiling the cast for its long-awaited reboot of "Fantastic Four", which will star Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards (aka Mr. Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm (aka the Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm (aka the Human Torch), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm (aka the Thing).
Matt Shakman (“WandaVision,” “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters”) directs “Fantastic Four” from a screenplay by Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan, and Ian Springer.
"Thunderbolts" is directed by Jake Schreier and stars Florence Pugh, Harrison Ford, Geraldine Viswanathan, Olga Kurylenko, Wyatt Russell, and Hannah John-Kamen.
The movie revolves around a group of villains who are sent on missions commissioned by the government.
It had initially been scheduled to hit theaters in July 2025.
