A few minutes ago, the Media Coordinator of the First Egyptian National Football team Mohamed Mourad announced on Facebook that Egypt's International Omar Marmoush signed his Manchester City contract.

Mourad highlighted that the move of Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt to the Citizens will be for £50 million.

Marmoush ranks second alongside Harry Kane for goals and assists across Europe's top five leagues in 2024-25, after scoring 13 goals and 8 assists.

Regarding the most goal scorers and assists, it is for Mohamed Salah.

Marmoush signing is part of the Citizens' efforts to save their season after the latest disappointing results in both domestic and European competitions.

Man City coach Pep Guardiola said about the Citizens' activity in the winter transfer window: "In some positions we need help. When we're all together we're the team we were but with important players out for weeks and months it's so difficult."

Of the fatigue the squad have been failing, midfielder Kevin De Bruyne said this week: "People were playing too many games. But they have to do it because if you don't have anyone else, you have to play. They took the burden, hopefully people come back and we get back into a rhythm as a team."
