Liverpool and Senegal superstar, Sadio Mane, spoke about playing with Salah, saying he’s undoubtedly the best player in the world at the moment.

Salah is having arguably his best start to a season in his Liverpool career, already scoring 22 goals in 24 appearances while providing nine assists. The Egyptian even broke Jamie Vardy’s record of scoring or assisting in 15 consecutive Premier League games.

Salah is among the best players in the world, based on current form, and is helping Liverpool thrive on the domestic and continental level, with the help of teammate Sadio Mane.

The African duo combine for a total of 39 direct goal contributions, guiding the Reds to sit second in the Premier League behind Manchester City and top their Champions League group with six wins in six matches.

Speaking to Socceram, Mane said the team is lucky to have a prolific goal-scorer in Mohamed Salah to help the team win, week in and week out.

“Can you say one player better than him right now? Every single week he shows it on the pitch. You can’t disagree with it. He is the best player,” said Mane.

“He’s always scoring for us. We are just lucky to have him in our squad,” he added.

When asked who is the quicker player between them, the Senegalese fancied himself to be faster than Salah.

“Short distance I am quicker. Long distance I am quicker!” He explained jokingly.
