Manchester United have reportedly turned down several offers to sell veteran defender Harry Maguire during the ongoing January transfer window, despite the England international being in the final months of his contract.
According to The Sun, United have rejected all approaches for Maguire this month, underlining their determination to retain the club’s former record-signing defender, who joined for £80 million.
Maguire’s current contract runs until the summer, and it remains unclear whether the club will offer him an extension through 2027 or allow him to leave once his deal expires.
For now, Maguire’s future at Old Trafford appears secure as United prepare for the remainder of the season under interim head coach Michael Carrick.
Other media reports have suggested that Italian clubs Inter Milan and Napoli are monitoring the situation closely, with both sides interested in signing Maguire on a free transfer next summer should he become available.
