Manchester City will face Sevilla in the UEFA Super Cup on August 16 at Greece’s Stadio Georgios Karaiskakis in Athens.
Man City qualified for the match after winning UEFA Champions League for the first in their history, after defeating Inter Milan 1-0.
On the other hand, Sevilla secured their spot in the game by overcoming Roma in the Europa League final by penalties.
The upcoming edition of the UEFA Super Cup will be the first UEFA club event to be hosted in Greece since AC Milan beat Liverpool 2-1 in the 2007 Champions League final.
Moreover, it will be the first time for the Citizens to participate in the fixture, while it is the sixth time for the Spanish team.
