The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces, Yahya Rasoul, announced the arrest of an ISIS terrorist (banned in Russia and many countries in the world), at Baghdad International Airport.

ISIS Leader Captured

The spokesman tweeted today on his official Twitter account: “Through constant follow-up and field work, the Counter-Terrorism Service was able to arrest the so-called General Administrative Coordinator of ISIS terrorist gangs, Abu Nabaa, at Baghdad International Airport. "

Rasoul added, "He was tracked by the intelligence of the Counter-Terrorism Service until his arrival in Iraq, and he was trying to hold a meeting of terrorist groups in the outskirts of the capital, Baghdad.

"Abu Nabaa" was known for his terrorist activities since 2003, when he belonged to several terrorist organizations, most notably "Al-Qaeda and ISIS", and was receiving instructions with paper letters issued from what is known as the governor of "Iraq".

The Iraqi security forces continue to search, and pursue the organization's remnants throughout the country, to ensure that they never regroup again.

In December 2017, Iraq announced the liberation of all its lands from the grip of "ISIS" after nearly three and a half years of confrontations with the terrorist organization, which occupied about a third of the country.
