Egyptian actress Maha Ahmed was taken to hospital after suffering from acute renal colic, her husband, actor Magdy Kamel revealed on Friday.
“Maha suffered acute renal colic and a tightness in the back muscles,” Kamel said, affirming that they rushed to the hospital for treatment.
“Thanks to God, she received proper treatment. Now, she is doing better,” he assured fans. “We are supposed to leave the hospital and continue treatment at home. Pray for her.”
Maha has posted a video on Instagram, in which she shared a gift from her son, Adel, on Valentine's Day. The gift was a flower bouquet in the form of the letters “I LOVE U”, and chocolate.
The actress made her last appearance on screen as a guest in the series "Omar and Diab" starring Ali Rabee and Mustafa Khater.
