Egypt's Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, accompanied by Communications Minister Dr. Amr Talaat, Giza Governor Eng. Adel El-Naggar, and other officials, visited Egypt's Digital Innovation Centre "Creativa" in Giza.

The visit included inspections of laboratories focused on supporting startups, fostering innovation, and advancing the "Digital Egypt Generations" initiative. These labs specialize in areas such as digital manufacturing, 2D and 3D design, programming, and electronics training.

Dr. Talaat highlighted a partnership with "500 Global," a leading global investor in startups, to operate the centre as a hub for digital innovation and entrepreneurship. The centre offers advanced training programs, including the Maker Diploma under the "Egypt Manufactures Electronics" initiative, which enables participants to turn creative ideas into prototypes within three months.

The Prime Minister also toured spaces dedicated to nurturing digital creativity, including brainstorming camps, business incubators, accelerators, and networking events. Training programs for managers of incubators and accelerators are being implemented in collaboration with "500 Global" to strengthen the startup ecosystem.

Eng. Ahmed El-Zaher, CEO of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), outlined efforts to promote tech entrepreneurship, including partnerships with academic institutions and activities supporting students' creative thinking and graduation projects. ITIDA also facilitates networking events, shared workspaces, and startup-focused programs, such as bootcamps and accelerators for growth-stage companies.

The partnership with "500 Global" has benefited various incubators and accelerators, including Flat6Labs, Nile University, and Banque Misr, by providing global best practices and training. Graduates of these programs shared success stories with the Prime Minister, including startups leveraging AI for agricultural sustainability, deep tech innovations in DevOps, fintech solutions for micro-enterprises, and digital healthcare platforms serving thousands of patients and doctors.

The visit emphasized the government’s commitment to empowering startups, fostering innovation, and building a robust entrepreneurship ecosystem in Egypt.
