Madbouly, Iraqi High-Level Delegation Sign MoUs

Session of Egyptian-Iraqi talks kicked off, Saturday, headed by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, in the presence of a number of concerned ministries from both sides.

Madbouly and his Iraqi counterpart Dr. Mustafa al-Kazemi witnessed,  few days ago, the signing of 15 agreements, memorandum of understanding (MoU), and protocol of cooperation, aiming at boosting the bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

A MoU between the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, and the Iraqi Ministry of Oil, has been signed by Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tariq al-Mulla, and Iraqi Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar.

Another MoU for cooperation, training and exchange of experiences in the field of justice and the judiciary, has been signed by Minister of International Cooperation Rania A. Al-Mashat, and Iraqi Minister of Justice Salar Abdel Sattar Mohamed.

Moreover, MoU for cooperation in the field of water resources and irrigation, has been signed by Al-Mashat,  and Iraqi Minister of Water Resources Mahdi Rashid Al-Hamdani.

Al-Mashat, and Executive Director of the Iraq Stock Exchange Taha Ahmed Abdel Salam have signed a memorandum of cooperation, regarding the two countries’ stocks exchange.

Minister of International Cooperation has also signed a Cooperation Agreement for the Bilateral Executive Program for Technical Cooperation in the Field of Environmental Protection, with Dr. Hassan Muhammad Al-Tamimi, Iraqi Minister of Health and Environment.

Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, has signed a MoU in the field of health, medicine, and traiing, with Al-Tamimi.

Minister of Transport Kamel Al-Wazi, and Nasser Hussein Bandar, Iraqi Minister of Transportation, signed a Maritime Transport Agreement.

Lieutenant general Kamel Al-Wazir, Minister of Transport and Minister of Construction, Housing and Public Eng. Nazanin Muhammad signed a MoU in the field of roads and bridges.

Nevin Jameh, Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry and Minister of Trad have singed MoU in the field of World Trade Organization agreements and organizing exhibitions.

Jameh also signed a cooperation protocol in the field of combating subsidies, dumping and prevention, with  Manhal Aziz Al-Khabbaz, Minister of Industry and Minerals.

Another joint cooperation protocol between the Iraqi Federation of Industries and the Federation of Egyptian Industries has been signed by Mohamed Zaki El-Suwaidi, President of the Federation of Egyptian Industries, and his counterpart Ali Sabih Ali Al-Saadi.

General Authority for Investment & Free Zones (GAFI) Mohamed Abdel-Wahab has signed MoU in the field of investment, with Dr. Suha al-Najjar, President of the National Investment Authority.
