French President Emmanuel Macron said on Thursday that Turkey is violating the Berlin agreements and ceasefire agreement.
During his interview broadcast Tuesday evening on France5 TV, Macron added that Ankara ent thousands of Syrian mercenaries and Turkish forces to Libya.
Libya’s government demanded the immediate withdrawal of all foreign mercenaries ahead of year-end elections, Libyan Foreign Minister Najla al-Mangoush said on Thursday.
During a press conference in Tripoli with her German, French and Italian counterparts, Al-Mangoush asserted that the stability of Libya is reflected positively on all neighboring countries.
The three European diplomats were in Tripoli to support the newly formed Government of National Unity (GNU).
