French President Emmanuel Macron said that Russia's missile attack on Ukraine shopping centre is an 'absolute horror'.

Dmytro Lunin, the governor of the Ukrainian region, Poltava said the death toll from the Russian missile strike that targeted a shopping mall in Kremenchuk has reached 10, and 40 others were injured.

The British channel, Sky News explained today, Monday, that footage from the site showed a high fire and black smoke rising into the sky in the wake of the missile strike.

Initial reports issued by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had stated that at least a thousand people were inside the mall when it was shelled.

“The occupiers launched a missile strike at the shopping center. There were more than a thousand civilians. The mall is on fire, rescuers are extinguishing the fire, a number of victims is unimaginable,” Zelenskyy wrote on the messaging app, Telegram.

Locals were seen helping the medics and first responders provide first aid to the victims of the attack and help put the injured in ambulances.

In London, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson described the missile attack on a crowded Ukrainian shopping mall as a “horrific attack.”

“Once again our condolences are with the families of innocent victims in Ukraine,” he added.
