Spanish head coach Luis Enrique has rejected an approach from Manchester United, opting to continue his project with Paris Saint-Germain, according to French media reports.

The decision follows a highly successful spell in Paris, where Enrique guided the club to a historic six-trophy haul last season.

That achievement has reinforced his reputation as one of the top managers in world football and attracted interest from several leading clubs, including Manchester United.

The Premier League side is actively searching for a high-profile manager to lead its next phase, despite the positive work currently being carried out by Michael Carrick.

Enrique, however, remains fully committed to Paris Saint-Germain and is focused on maintaining the team’s momentum across competitions.

His current contract is set to expire next year, but reports indicate that negotiations are underway for an extension that could keep him at the club until 2030.

The expected renewal reflects the club’s desire to preserve stability and build on recent success under his leadership.
