Spanish coach Luis Enrique has announced the squad of Paris Saint-Germain for their crucial first-leg showdown against AS Monaco in the preliminary round of the UEFA Champions League.
The Parisian side will be aiming to rediscover momentum after an underwhelming group-stage campaign, as they seek a strong start in the knockout phase. PSG are also looking to bounce back domestically following a 3–1 defeat to Stade Rennais F.C. in Ligue 1.
However, the French champions will be without Senny Mayulu and Fabián Ruiz, both sidelined through injury.
PSG Squad to Face Monaco:
Goalkeepers: Lucas Chevalier, Matvey Safonov, Renato Marin
Defenders: Lucas Beraldo, Nuno Mendes, Achraf Hakimi, Willian Pacho, Illia Zabarnyi, Marquinhos, Lucas Hernández
Midfielders: Vitinha, Warren Zaïre-Emery, João Neves, Drew Fernandez
Forwards: Bradley Barcola, Ousmane Dembélé, Désiré Doué, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Gonçalo Ramos, Ibrahim Mbaye, Lee Kang-In
With a blend of youth and experience across the pitch, Luis Enrique will be hoping his squad can deliver a convincing performance away from home and take a decisive step toward the next stage of Europe’s premier club competition.
