London City Lionesses are reportedly showing strong interest in signing Spanish superstar Alexia Putellas following confirmation of her departure from FC Barcelona Femení earlier this week.
The ambitious Women’s Super League side, owned by businesswoman Michele Kang, are aiming to make a major statement in the transfer market after an impressive debut season in England’s top flight, where they finished sixth.
