Liverpool has almost completed much of their summer business, with the additions of Fabio Carvalho, Darwin Nunez and Aberdeen left back Calvin Ramsay is also expected to join.

Liverpool have 'no concerns' about Salah allowing his standards to drop if he's to see out his contract next season.

"The Egyptian will be free to leave Anfield for nothing next summer if an agreement is not reached in the next year. With no breakthrough in negotiations, the Merseyside club face a very real possibility of the 30-year-old moving on for free," Mirror reported.

According to The Mirror, senior sources at Liverpool have 'confirmed' the club have gone as far as they possibly can without breaking their current wage structure and they do 'not anticipate' a compromise.

They do not expect him to 'down tools', however, given he is 'too much of a perfectionist' and the player's conduct throughout the process has been 'exemplary'.
