On Tuesday, Liverpool started their preparation for the new season as players made their return to the iconic AXA Training Center.
Sombre and sorrowful mood painted the air as the players met the reality of Diogo Jota's death and his endless absence in the locker room, which he shared with them since 2020.
Liverpool's AXA Training Centre witnessed a commemorative ceremony today on the first day of the team's preparations for the new season, honouring the memory of the late Jota, who tragically died in a horrific accident in Spain last week.

Liverpool players were initially scheduled to return to training last Friday, but a decision was made to postpone the session to Tuesday due to the overwhelming grief following the deaths of Jota and his brother André Silva in a tragic crash in Spain last Thursday.
