Liverpool’s inconsistent 2025-2026 campaign under head coach Arne Slot continued after a 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday at Anfield, in Round 30 of the Premier League.
The result adds to a worrying run of form for Liverpool, who have been unable to maintain consistency throughout the season despite entering the campaign as defending champions.
Since April 2025, Liverpool have played 38 Premier League matches, securing 17 wins while dropping points in 21 games, including 12 defeats and 9 draws.
The team has averaged just 1.58 points per match, marking their lowest return since the 2015-2016 season.
According to Opta, Liverpool have conceded eight goals in the 90th minute or later this season, the highest number in a single Premier League campaign in the club’s history.
This surpasses their previous record of seven late goals conceded during the 2010-2011 season.
Liverpool’s struggles have been particularly evident in 2026.
The team has played 12 league matches this year, recording four wins, five draws, and three defeats, dropping points in eight of those games.
Their form at Anfield has also declined, with the team playing 15 home matches and failing to win in seven of them, highlighting a surprising dip in performance on their own ground.
Overall, Liverpool have managed just 14 wins from 30 league matches this season, alongside 16 setbacks, including nine defeats and seven draws, underlining ongoing issues in both results and attacking efficiency.
Liverpool will need to find solutions quickly to revive their season and regain momentum in the Premier League title race.
