Liverpool officially announces the appointment of Arne Slott to succeed Jurgen Klopp

The English professional club Liverpool announced, among its ranks, the Egyptian international Mohamed Salah, the appointment of Dutch coach Arne Slot as the team's new technical director, succeeding German coach Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool published an official statement on its website, saying: “We can confirm that we have reached an agreement with Arne Sloat to become the club’s new coach, and he will officially take up his position on June 1, 2024, in accordance with the work permit.”

The coach of the Dutch team Feyenoord announced that he would take over the leadership of Liverpool, starting next season.

German coach Jurgen Klopp ended his term with the English club Liverpool, and bid farewell to the Reds fans at Anfield yesterday, at the end of his contract, and in the team’s final match in the English Premier League, the German revealed his plans for the future.

The Dutch coach will arrive at the Reds after three very successful seasons with Feyenoord, during which he led them to the league title in 2023 and was named best coach in the Eredivisie on two occasions.
