Liverpool gear up for post-Klopp era - reports

European reports claimed on Sunday that the last season Premier League champions Liverpool will gear up for Jurgen Klopp's successor in case the German coach leaves the Reds at anytime.

According to Marca, Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard could return to Anfield as coach when Jurgen Klopp departs the Merseyside club.

The Spanish newspaper said that the Reds have no intention to sack Klopp, but they put more than once scenario after the reports, which claimed that the Klopp are so close to lead the German's national team.

"The Daily Mirror say that, with Joachim Low's future unclear and the German federation keen on Klopp, Liverpool are not resting on their laurels," Marca said.

"Club directors are already working on a replacement, which could be current Rangers coach Gerrard," it added.
