Liverpool, featuring Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, will travel to face defending champions Paris Saint-Germain at 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Parc des Princes in Paris, in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals for the 2025 to 2026 season.
Paris Saint-Germain enter the clash in high spirits under head coach Luis Enrique after securing a convincing 3-1 victory over Toulouse to strengthen their position at the top of Ligue 1.
In contrast, Liverpool arrive in the French capital aiming to recover from a heavy 4-0 defeat to Manchester City, which saw them eliminated from the FA Cup at the quarter-final stage.
Despite that setback, Liverpool remain a formidable force in the competition, having won the title six times.
They reached this stage following an impressive comeback against Galatasaray, overturning a 1-0 first-leg defeat with a dominant 4-0 victory in the return leg.
