The famous "Emily in Paris" actress Lily Collins hosted the first ever virtual and global “Go Campaign” Gala yesterday alongside the new upcoming Batman Robert Pattinson and Star Wars’ Ewan McGregor.
Collins expressed her deep love and respect for the “Go Campaign” work and announced that she is so proud to be a part of the “Go Campaign” team for yet another year in an Instagram post yesterday.
This year’s Go Gala had the largest number of audiences yet seeing as it was a virtual event due to the coronavirus pandemic and precautionary measures. The Gala included some musical performances by Haim, Judith Hill, Ewan McGregor, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, David Foster, and Kathrine McPhee. As well as a guest appearance by Heidi Klum.
“Go Campaign” is a nonprofit organization founded by the famous screenwriter Scott Fifer in 2006 and based in Santa Monica, California. The organization raises funds to help orphans and vulnerable children not only in the U.S.A but all across the world. It also supports projects that offer direct help to children be it an education, medical care, vocational training or enrichment programs.
This year the virtual “Go Campaign” gala worked to raise funds for the COVID-19 relief across the world and to support the racial justice programs for youth communities across the U.S.A. Also, the winner of the special “Emily in Paris” Paris trip was announced during the gala.
